June!

June was not quite as jovial as its predecessor - Gita Chitti and Ben Mama had to pack up and move to Boston to start residency! And all our wonderful family visitors (Mom, Pop, Savi Periamma, the Wetters) went back home! After the all the excitement of May, June was a bit muted. We really miss the constant presence of Gita and Ben in our house, but we are adjusting to it. We are happy knowing they are settling into Boston well, and of course, showing the East Coast what Mayo med students are made of!!

Late in June, David finally graduated from Dermatology residency and Uma started her residency in Internal Medicine at Mayo. The new schedules are going to be very challenging for us, especially now that we have a very active one-year-old on our hands, but so far, we’re getting by!!
